Global Banking School (GBS) is a renowned higher education institution, providing vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in banking, finance, construction, accounting, psychology, and more.

The school currently operates 10 campuses across the UK, with half residing in London. 

The challenge

GBS didn’t own a company intranet before Claromentis. Instead, they made do with an employee benefits platform — a tool that provided some engagement and recognition features, but offered very little in the way of communication capabilities.

This worked for a period of time. But as GBS scaled, the platform became less effective. The simplistic communication module wasn’t enough to manage their growing teams, remote staff, and ambitious HR efforts.

  • Events. Previously, GBS managed company events via Microsoft Outlook. This led to cluttered personal calendars, particularly for employees that didn’t plan on attending the activities. Now, GBS manages all events, roadshows, and engagement activities in Claromentis. Employees have complete control over whether they engage with the events or not, meaning there’s no bloated calendars or confusion. 
  • Analytics. Claromentis’ native analytics help the HR team track employee engagement rates and make informed improvements to company culture initiatives. 

The outcome

Disengagement and misalignment are now problems of the past for Global Banking School. Since launching Claromentis in 2024, the higher education institution has revolutionized the way it communicates with and enables its workforce.
