The document submission wizard is a concept that allows companies that require strict control of document names through conventions and rules to protect the user from this complexity whilst also maintaining the integrity of the resulting application files.
The wizard allows different patterns to be followed in different areas of the DMS, and can create the numerical part of the pattern based on the next number required according to the existing files in the folder. The user simply answers a series of form based questions about the document, and relevant document attributes are set for them.
