What’s new in Claromentis 11?

As well as tinkering with existing applications and framework features, we’ve baked 5 new capabilities into Claromentis 11.

Here’s a quick overview of each:

1. AI search: find what you need, fast

Every year, organizations waste billions of hours simply searching for information. That’s hundreds of thousands of years of time that could be spent on high-value tasks.

Claromentis already solves this problem by centralizing your people, communications, and operations in one hub. Only now, with AI search, we’ve made it easier to find the precise information you need, whenever you need it, within seconds.

Enter a query, get a list of relevant links, and receive a concise overview that either summarizes the surfaced content or answers your question.

Here’s a few things to note about the AI:

• Unlike traditional keyword-based search, AI search understands the intent behind every request. You don’t need to worry about precise wording; the AI reads between the lines.
• It only ingests information from your Claromentis portal. This eliminates the possibility of fabricated outputs (or “hallucinations”) — a common concern for many organizations, particularly those in heavily regulated industries.
• Overviews will only appear when the system is confident enough to provide them. When it isn’t, traditional search results will be displayed.
• It works in tandem with the Claromentis permissions system and security framework. This means users will only receive links and content summaries that correspond to their access rights.

As well as launching AI search, we’ve also upgraded our traditional search to Elasticsearch 8 — meaning you get the best of both worlds. You can use Elasticsearch for more precise queries where keywords matter, such as specific user names, file titles, and intranet pages. This ensures you receive the right document or resource.

2. AI chat assistance: enable every employee

Give every employee access to a knowledgeable assistant that can streamline information discovery, improve competency, and enhance platform adoption.

Engage with the AI assistant in the pop-up chat box and receive intelligent explanations, summaries, and links based on the content in your Claromentis portal. Much like the search functionality, the AI respects your security and permissions settings, ensuring sensitive information never falls into the wrong hands.

As an added benefit, you can connect the AI to the Claromentis customer support portal, Discover. This allows users to ask product-related questions and get clear, Claromentis-approved answers — all without leaving your site. (Great news for admin teams!)

3. Locations: build custom performance dashboards

Created with franchise networks and multi-site organizations in mind, our Locations application brings clarity and accountability to unit performance.

Create custom dashboards for every brand, site, department, or region that summarize:

• Location address, territory details, and contact information
• Staff profiles
• Operational overviews and SOP summaries
• Recent internal communication updates
• Training completions
• NPS scores
• Financial and sales data
• Policy acceptance rates
• Custom operational data
• And more

4. Multi-directory synchronization

Customers with multiple Azure AD tenants can now synchronize and converge users within one Claromentis licence.

This is particularly useful for organizations that grow by acquisition or operate multiple distinct brands under a single portfolio.
