EOC compliance, simplified

Many hospitals still rely on unstandardized, paper-based forms for their systematic EOC checks. This increases the risk of missed violations, inadequate follow-ups, and Preliminary Denial of Accreditation.

Claromentis Enablement Hub for Healthcare helps you standardize these checklists for every department and every round, ensuring every criteria is met.

Our integrated Environment of Care agent then reads through these logs to unearth intelligent insights, priorities, and violations that need your immediate attention. This enables you to fix compliance issues well before your next survey.

Ensure your hospital is survey-ready every day

"Which departments would worry us if a surveyor walked in tomorrow?"

Understand which hospital departments violated EOC standards in their latest and historic rounds checklists, and pinpoint any unresolved corrective actions.

In our fictional 100-bed community hospital demo, the agent analyzed 67 rounds across 15 departments and identified 4 departments with compliance and safety concerns.

Get a summary of patient privacy and HIPAA non-compliance concerns, with timestamps, linked references, and associated follow-up items.

Our demo agent identified recurring patient privacy issues in Quillfield Community Hospital's Patient Registration department, including visible and unlocked monitor screens that exposed PHI.

"Which patients were affected by the privacy problems at registration?"

As standard, EOC checklists should never contain protected health information (PHI).

However, if a staff member happens to violate protocol and writes down patient information (e.g. names appearing on a monitor), the agent will not disclose this information. It is trained never to reveal PHI.

How our Environment of Care agent benefits you

Be ready for your next survey

The Joint Commission conducts unannounced surveys every 18 to 36 months. As there's no way of knowing when these surveys might occur, healthcare organizations must be prepared at all times.

Enablement Hub for Healthcare standardizes EOC rounds, ensuring every department complies with regulatory standards and safety best practices. Our integrated agent then helps you read and understand the collated data, identify issues that need remediation, and fix them before your next survey.

This reduces the likelihood of Requirements for Improvements (RFIs) and loss of accreditation.

Identify and fix recurring problems

The EOC agent analyzes recent and historic checklist data and unearths recurring problems across your departments, such as obstructions in corridors, faulty fire doors, unsecured gas cylinders, and missing crash-cart equipment.

These insights can inform your future training procedures, guide your internal communications strategies, and help you refactor and improve your EOC checklists.

Streamline EOC submission review

Most small or community hospitals suffer from outdated technology and workforce shortages.

The multi-disciplinary teams responsible for EOC rounds often don't have the time to read through every checklist submission closely.

This is where agentic AI can help.

Our Environment of Care agent does the reading for you. It parses through every logged checklist, uncovers issues and overdue submissions, and backs up every answer with a linked citation.

Connected to your operations

Your EOC checklists and associated agent live within Claromentis Enablement Hub; a software solution that centralizes all of your communications, operations, training, and compliance efforts.

This means that, when a check fails, you can see the context behind the failure. Perhaps some of your nurses haven't retaken their BLS certification, or your administrative teams forgot to read and acknowledge the latest version of your HIPAA policy.

Armed with these holistic insights, you can make targeted mitigation plans.

FAQs

EOC agent FAQ

What data does the Environment of Care agent read?

The Environment of Care agent reads through your EOC checklists, which are captured in Enablement Hub via a customizable e-form and workflow. During the onboarding stage, we can help you configure this process in line with your organization's requirements.

Does the EOC agent expose patient data?
