Setting up Webdav

Windows XP

  1. Navigate to My Network Place
  2. Under “Network Task” select Add a Network Place

  1. Click Next to continue
  2. Select “Choose another network location” and click Next
  3. Type
http://{yourintranetaddress}/intranet/WEBDAV/index.php/
  1. Replace {yourintranetaddress} with address of your intranet
  2. Click Next to continue, and you will be prompted with the login box like picture below:

  1. Cancel that box, you’ll get warning saying “The folder you entered doesn’t appear to be valid”
  2. Click OK
  3. Click Next again and you will be prompted with slighty different dialog box (notice PHP WebDAV)

  1. Enter Claromentis’ username and password

Windows Vista

  1. From My Computer, right click “Add network location”
  2. Click Next and then select “Choose a custom network location”
  3. Internet or network address
  4. http://{yourintranetaddress}/intranet/WEBDAV/index.php/

Replace {yourintranetaddress} with address of your intranet

  1. Enter your username and password, the same username and password used for accessing intranet.

Mac OS 10.5+

  1. Finder choose Go > “Connect to Server” and enter the URL as in the Vista example above
  2. Intranet is now available in the Places bar in Finder

For sites that are not on a SharePoint server, in order to resolve this behavior so that open documents that are in the Internet or Local intranet security zones in Internet Explorer with read/write permissions, you must add the following registry key as explained http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870853
