Claromentis is capable of managing multiple document storage locations for your documents. Here is a brief guide on how to configure multiple storage locations....
You should already have at least one Data directory already configured; we will assume the location for this is C:\Claromentis\Data
1. Navigate to the Document Admin Panel and click on “Document Storages”
2. Click on “Add Storage” and create the additional storage location E.g C:\Claromentis\Data2\
3. Once you have configured the new Data storage location, you can select it when editing Folder properties from the Document Admin Panel only.
NB: IF you change the storage location of a folder that already contains documents; these documents will not be moved to the new location. Only documents that are added to that folder after the storage location was changed will be stored in the new location. Whilst this behavior is supported by the Claromentis software, Claromentis does recommend that you avoid changing the Storage location for folders that already contain documents.
