The idea of tight integration of several disparate information management applications led to the concept of a project room - a hub for different objects that are in fact connected to the same project - and an online project management application that maintains grouped sets of projects with all of their associated information, so providing online project management software across a broad set of information objects.

All projects can automatically have their own folder systems within the Claromentis Document Manager application. As well as enabling easy collaboration on document creation, this also allows the project team to track revision history and use version control tools. By integrating with the powerful Java-based advanced searching application even large engineering and construction plans can be searched effectively. With the new commenting functionality users can share opinions of relevant features of a document.
The power and functionality of Claromentis process manager provides a comprehensive form builder to manage any issues liked to the project. Each project can have it’s own individual e-form, including customized fields, notifications, handlers, Plug ins and SLAs to ensure that all aspects of a projects progress and status can be accurately monitored, reported on and escalated as required.
E-forms can be used in web project management for a variety of reasons – reporting concerns, requesting resources, materials or as a general support portal for all involved in the project.

Resource allocation management is a critical part of any project software, in CLaromentis RAM provides individual resource allocation management to control the workload of each individual in different projects.
With the help of RAM, user can require appropriate skills for a particular task and accordingly select appropriate resources to to assign to the task. While selecting resources in RAM, users can see number of concurrent tasks a particular resource is working on simultaneously for the period of selected task duration. This helps in selecting appropriate resources that are not only appropriately skilled, but also available for the task duration.
A section for each project allows every team member to indicate their level of need for information alerts when something changes in the project. This is particularly useful for users that are for example from a partner or supplier company, and accessing the Web Project Management product using extranet project permissions. By setting their preferences to receive a notification on all possible changes to the project, they can continue to work on other projects knowing that if anything changes they will receive an email.
Claromentis will audit the activities of users in the project, allowing a record of all activities undertaken by each user. These logs are useful both in general problem resolution but also in preserving a project record of events.
User can generate two types of reports in project management software:
• Task Reports – a report of the information about each task related to a project on a particular date
• RAG Reports – a report for each task providing the information about the statuses (Previous, Current, Estimated) of the task on a particular date
Reports can be generated manually on demand or you can automatically generate reports at the selected time interval of daily, weekly or monthly. Individual project statuses, such as archive, can be configured to disable automatic report generation through the scheduler. As well as immediate on screen reviews, project management reports can be exported as XLS or CSV for further analysis.
