Session Management

Within Claromentis Session Management is used at all times, no sensitive information is ever stored as cookies, only an encrypted random identifier to control a session is stored locally and only on a per-session basis.

The system has an automatic log out after x seconds of inactivity. If a user leaves their desk the system logs them off after a time specified by the system administrator.

All passwords are encrypted

Either the log-on or the entire solution can be deployed behind SSL.
Additional separate user and passwords control access to administration panels.

Firewalls

People you want to share the benefits of your Intranet may work behind firewalls. Claromentis is fully operational in these situations - the system uses no flash or active x or any other technologies that are not available behind firewalls. JavaScript is used but if it is disabled behind a firewall the Intranet will still perform.
