Task Management Software Functionality
Project Task Gantt Charts
For each project, a user-friendly Gantt chart tool within the project task management software enables team members to schedule tasks, mark key events and milestones, and keep track of progress. The Gantt chart graphically summarizes the online project management tasks and milestones. Full filtering allows views of the Gantt chart according to incomplete tasks and by groups of users according to their role in the project.
Document Management
Integration with the Claromentis Document Manager application enables users to access powerful document management functionality. From within the project management software solution, team members can collaborate on the creation and development of project documents, while benefiting from comprehensive version-control features.
As well as enabling easy collaboration on documents, task management software also allows the project team to track revision history and use version control tools. By integrating with the powerful Java-based advanced searching application, even large engineering and construction plans can be searched effectively.
Reports
Users can generate two types of reports with the project management software solution:

Task Reports
a report of the information about each task related to a project on a particular date -
RAG Reports
a report for each task providing the information about the traffic light statuses (Previous, Current, Estimated) of the tasks
Project task management reports can be generated manually on demand, or you can automatically generate reports at the selected time interval either daily, weekly or monthly. Individual project statuses, such as 'Archive', can be configured to disable automatic report generation through the scheduler. As well as immediate on-screen reviews, online project management reports can be exported in XLS or CSV format for further analysis.
Discussion Forums
The task management software supports authenticated discussion forums which are available from within each project.
