Software Plug-Ins.
Plug-ins are sets of code that are executed when certain conditions, or statuses are reached in a particular workflow or process. Once this has been set, plug-ins can perform any required task such as reading data from other databases, writing output or performing any calculation.

Plug-ins are normally coded by development staff from the Claromentis custom development team, but the API provides full instructions for your own, or any external PHP developers that you have existing relationships with, to code them on your behalf
