Claromentis provides an industry strength enterprise level document management system with robust version control, permission, indexing, searching, workflows and customizable metadata.
A complete check in and check-out system, using the permission system, preserves version control at all times. Users can only browse to, or return in searching, the latest version of all relevant information.
You can specify which user can do what on each folder/document.
Any user not in the Permissions list will not be able to view or access the folder and its contents.
You can upload images in Document application. To use this functionality, create the folder by clicking on the checkbox for 'View folder in Thumbnails'.
Once you have created the folder, you can add pictures to the folder which should display as a preview of the picture.
Any time you add/change the document, you will be given the opportunity to notify other users of the document you are uploading.
The default is set not to send any notifications. If it is a new document you are uploading, select the option to send notification to all users with view rights to the folder you are uploading the file to.
You can also select users who you want to inform about the document you are uploading by selecting the option 'Select users to send notification to'.
Monitoring functionality allows users to ensure that they are informed if information is updated, even if the user chose not to directly notify them.
A fully comprehensive metadata system is available through the universal metadata system, accessible from its own administration panel to authorized users.
As well as the intranet permission system utilizing extranet areas, groups, roles and users further security is available through the application of security levels, IP locking, and the use of MD5 signature.
Claromentis has been fully Penetration tested at the request of a government client, giving you the reassurance of auditable security.
All activities in Claromentis are auditable, allowing the document manager to review all of the relevant activities for each document - such as who viewed the document, who created new versions and from what IP address.
