We develop our web based applications in 3 ways : as core applications used by our customers as part of our intranet products , as sponsored applications - where a client will help fund an application in order to increase it's priority - and purely bespoke intranet applications designed specifically for the needs of a single customer, and not made available to any other Claromentis client.
We have developed many bespoke intranet applications for our customers, they include applications for health care clients, for procurement systems, marketing intelligence, store visit reports for the retail sector, job processing applications, car sharing schemes, office information systems and social networking portals.
Many of these applications mash up with other technologies and applications such as Google, facebook, salesforce and other platforms to provide exactly the integrated solutions our clients require. Single sign on will always ensure that the user experience is seamless.
Claromentis™ provides many applications which aim to solve a wide range of complex corporate requirements. Here is a list of the more significant intranet applications we use throughout our main seven products. Some applications are included in more than one product.
Audit manager is a comprehensive application to log all activities by the users of the system. Analysis of the audit logs answer questions such as which users are using particular areas of the system. If required activities can be awarded points and contribute to a users rank in the system.
A configurable backup application exists in administration panel to allow the back up of various specified document folders and sub folders to any accessible location on the file system. The backups can be full or incremental – normal usage is to specify a series of incremental backups, for example daily, and a series of full back ups every week. The application is completely configurable to meet your needs, depending on available space, file volumes, data volatility and level of importance of the information to the business.
A full blogging application which can be mounted on any publish page, or of course the home page. Blogs can also be displayed using smart objects, to ensure intranet news is distributed to the right departments without having to migrate away to interrogate other objects.
The application that creates and manage complex online content, in particular used by Quality Manager to manage online policies and procedures.
A drag and drop multiple set of calendars is provided. New calendars can be created and shared as appropriate for each user. Single views of the calendar can display events from multiple calendars, color coded as required. Day, week, monthly and Bi Weekly views are all available.
The compliance application can be launched against any object in the system, normally a document or URL. The targeted users are sent emails requesting that they confirm they have read and comply with the information. Reporting is available on the percentage of the target audience that has complied, specific follow up emails can be sent to those remaining until such time as 100% of the target audience has complied with the request. The info bar application allows the company from administration to make available resources to permissioned groups of users. In addition a personal info bar can be made available to all users so that they can set deep links to Intranet software or external resources as they need.
Sales opportunity management with full territory and project management. Integration with version controlled sales documents makes the system ideal for the preparation of complex tenders. Forecasting, report wizard, dashboards, alerts, company head and sub offices, virtual companies and linked companies are fully supported.
Dashboards allows the creation of drill down graphical representations of data from any accessible source.
The core application of the Document Manager product is the Document application. This provides robust and scaleable functionality for web based document management. A complete absence manager tool that allows the definition of as many absence types as the business needs, allows team members a view of their vacation plans and provides full holiday management functionality.
Image management is an important requirement for many companies. The permission system enables images and collections of images to be shared amongst relevant people. Image collections can be tagged according to your needs, and shared with others via light boxes. Images that are uploaded in high resolution can automatically be downloaded in a resolution that matches the business use – for example – ‘web’ or ‘print’. Image Management Details.
The main e-form application of Claromentis provides a form building application, process management functionality including workflows, notifications, dynamic forms, SLAs and reporting engines.
Creation and maintenance of permissioned menus is important functionality to ensure that complex sets of menus can be generated easily to make available the correct sets of pages for all users. The menu builder application provides a complete set of functionality to synchronize permissioned content with folders, and to hide particular items from menus as required.
The news application is a true web 2.0 Intranet news system with tagging, channels, commenting, moderation and full RSS support. For larger companies that need different workflows and functionality for news from different regions; the entire news submission, routing, approval and where needed translation process can all be delivered using the InfoCapture application as a unifying workflow engine. The People application provides a full functionality suite to ensure that relevant information about all staff and other stakeholders can be defined, viewed and modified by people with the appropriate permissions. People can belong to multiple groups or roles, see the system through differing interfaces and define their skill levels.

The central content management application of Claromentis, Publish provides version controlled creation, editing, administration and distribution of web content. Integrated within the Claromentis product is a task management system. This is a simple approach to task management, more comprehensive task management including Gantt charts is provided by the Project Manager product.
A complete web mail application is provided for those companies that want to provide web mail to the users of the system, and require that the content of the mail is fully searchable within the portal.
As an open source extendable platform Claromentis benefits from the enormous number of gadgets that are freely available for integration into the system. These include everything from news to weather and global time zones to feeds from webcams and many other communities in the social networking space. The availability of mash ups with many other significant open source platforms allows Claromentis to sit at the core of the information system of the users, providing a portal to other information sets through various techniques.
Claromentis has integrated Mediawiki into the system, to make this available within our permission system and fully searchable for those clients that find Wikis useful as one of their information stores, but do not wish to create another disparate information store.
